Repeated COME Download Notices: Check the File List

Repeated download notices may represent several browser attempts rather than several installed apps. Inspect the browser file list and Android’s app information separately.

Match each notice to an entry

Open the browser’s Downloads area and use the time and status to identify each attempt. A notice can refer to progress, failure or completion. Read that state before opening a file or starting another copy.

Understand numbered filenames

A browser may add a suffix when an existing file has the same name. That suffix is a duplicate-name handling detail, not a software version. Compare the actual offer and completed-file context instead of choosing by the largest filename number.

Check installation in the right place

Android’s installed-app information is more relevant to installation state than the browser notice count. If COME already opens, identify the remaining task before downloading again. Avoid clearing application data simply to reduce confusion in the download list.

A useful next step

Use the full download sequence with one identifiable attempt. Preserve the current installation and the exact message if the result is still unclear.
